Farewell Gardens is a small and tranquil holiday camp, situated right beside the sea at the base of Farewell Spit, the longest sand spit in New Zealand. 

Puponga beach is a safe beach for swimming or kayaking , and at low tide you can walk close to the resident seal colony at Abel Head.

 

We offer a variety of accommodation options ideal for families or backpackers, from tent sites, caravans through to a fully self contained apartment.  The camp boasts well established gardens for a relaxing stay, with many mature native and exotic trees providing shelter and privacy.
